The showers stopped and the sun peeked through on queue as we teed off on October 25th at St. Marlo Country Club for The 2010 "Little Moments in Time" golf tournament, benefiting The Herring Foundation of Hope.

We had a fantastic day and raised a ton of money to support our Hope Kit program! This light-hearted tournament event featured a putting contest, a hole-in-one contest, and prizes for the top 3 teams as well as individuals for closest to the pin and longest drive.

Proceeds from this event will be used to assist newly diagnosed cancer patients and their families with comprehensive and objective treatment information ... and to provide hope. This outreach is accomplished primarily through the foundation's Hope Kit program, which to date has assisted over 3,000 cancer patients nationwide.

"Little Moments in Time" was a phrase that Jeff Herring, our courageous namesake, created and lived by. It means that everyone should embrace and enjoy the little moments each day that make up our lives. The foundation's goal is that this annual event is just one of many of those moments for you.

The Herring Foundation of Hope is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization and over 94% of all proceeds go directly towards supporting cancer patients and their families.
