1. What is the cost of a Hope Kit?
Hope Kits are free to any newly diagnosed cancer patient. The foundation only requires a payment of $29.00 to cover our cost of shipping and handling. We accept most major credit cards, and you can also pay via a check.
2. Who is eligible to receive a free Hope Kit?
Hope Kits are intended for any newly diagnosed cancer patients.
3. Where do you ship Hope Kits?
The policy of The Herring Foundation of Hope is to ship Hope Kits only to patients who are located within the 48 United States, as the cost to ship these heavy kits beyond that territory is cost-prohibitive and would limit our ability to serve the most patients.
4.Can you ship Hope Kits to Post Office Boxes?
No. Because we ship using United Parcel Service (UPS), we must ship to an actual postal mailing address.
5. How quickly do Hope Kits ship ?
We typically fill Hope Kit orders the same day they are received Monday-Friday but we commit to ship kits within 3 business days. Kits ship from Atlanta, GA via UPS and are delivered within 1-5 business days of shipping. A UPS tracking number is emailed to the requestor (not the recipient) on the day the kit ships.
6. Can I order a Hope Kit for someone else?
Absolutely. There is a place on the order form to ship to anyone else in the 48 US states. Our only request is that you notify the recipient that the kit will be shipping to them, as we do not currently place custom notices inside the Hope Kit package to advise the recipient of the donor's identity.
7. What should I do if the kit is not received within a reasonable amount of time?
