The Herring Foundation of Hope offers a "Hope Kit" to any recently diagnosed cancer patient in the USA.

The Hope Kit is an invaluable collection of information and tools that have been carefully selected by a panel of people who have all been in the shoes of a newly diagnosed cancer patient and their family.  The contents cover a wide spectrum of topics and needs which immediately force themselves into the lives of the newly diagnosed cancer patient.  The materials are regularly reviewed by a paid board of cancer specialists and medical doctors to ensure they are the most accurate, current, unbiased, and easy-to-understand of materials available.  In addition to the books, tapes, and journal that are included, the foundation has assembled a unique collection of articles and other useful information which is presented in a tabbed 3-inch binder for easy reference.

Before ordering, please review our Hope Kit FAQs.

The Hope Kit has information on cancer treatment options, including conventional as well as complementary and alternative treatments. Also included are sources for more information, resource kits for family members, and action steps to be taken immediately to assist in the healing process.

Each Hope Kit has a retail value of over $250. The Herring Foundation of Hope relies on donations and annual fundraising efforts to raise the money to sustain the Hope Kit program. We subsidize 100% of the cost of each Hope Kit and we ask that you pay only $29 for shipping and handling to defray our program expenses. The Herring Foundation of Hope is an all-volunteer organization and over 94% of the funds we raise goes toward supporting the Hope Kit program.
